Ċerti persuni, fil-kelma ta’ Alla, fl-istorja tal-Knisja, Alla l-Imbierek jagħtihom vokazzjoni, sejħa, li huma jkunu sinjal, sinjal għall-poplu, sinjal sabiex in-nies jinbidlu, sinjal għan-nies biex jikkonvertu, sinjal għan-nies biex iwasslulhom messaġġ mis-Sema. U xi drabi dan il-messaġġ li s-Sema titlob li dal-messaġġ jitwassal lin-nies ikun xi ftit stramb f’għajnejna:

a) Ikun stramb għaliex ma jkunx fin-normalità ta’ kif forsi Alla naħsbu li jitkellem.
b) Ikun stramb għaliex forsi ma nistennewx illi Alla jitlob ċerti affarijiet minn persuni – bħal Ħosea li kellu jiżżewweġ prostituta u li kienet se tmut – sabiex Alla jurieh, juri lil poplu kif permezz ta’ dan il-profeta miżżewweġ prostituta, Alla jibqa’ fidil lejn il-poplu tiegħu, minkejja xi drabi l-poplu jaqlibielu, ma jibqax fidil lejH, imma Alla xorta jibqa’ fidil lejh. Ċertament huwa ġest stramb illi Alla jitlob dan it-tip ta’ żwieġ mill-profeta, iżda l-profeta, għax hu bniedem t’Alla, u jaf x’qed jesperjenza, f’ubbidjenza lejn Alla, jagħmel dak illi Alla jgħidlu.

Xi drabi dawn il-modi strambi jitfaċċaw ukoll anke f’każijiet tad-dehriet tal-Madonna, per eżempju bħalissa hemm kas ta’ dehriet tal-Madonna li qed jiġu studjati, ġewwa l-Brażil, illi l-messaġġi qegħdin jaslu mhux biss permezz ta’ waħda mara li tara l-Madonna hemmek, però wkoll b’mod stramb:
Fejn tidher il-Madonna hemm ġnien illi qed jaqgħu l-weraq minn fuq dawn is-siġar u propju f’dawn il-weraq qed jinstabu miktuba, il-messaġġi li qed twassal il-Madonna hemmek. Meta studjawhom skoprew illi dan li qed jiġi miktub fuq dawn il-weraq, QED JIKTBUH IN-NEMEL – vera, jiena rajt werqa minnhom, ġabuhieli – In-nemel qegħdin jieklu, jtaqqbu dawn il-weraq, kull toqba mihiex bħal oħra fil-fatti, illi qed jitfaċċaw fuqhom il-messaġġi tal-Madonna. Daqsxejn stramb. Alla xi drabi għandu l-modi strambi tiegħU, ma nistennewhx li forsi jwassal ċerti messaġġi.

U xi drabi wkoll ċerti messaġġi jaslu wkoll permezz ta’ tpinġijiet – li messaġġ jasal bi tpinġijiet. Li messaġġ jasal bi tpinġija, fuq livell, qed ngħidu, fil-ħajja ta’ kuljum, hija xi ħaġa antika fil-hajja tal-bniedem. Per ezempju, l-eġizzjani tawna x’kien jigri fi żmienhom, mhux permezz ta’ kliem kif nafuh illum, imma permezz ta’ tpinġijiet. L-istess il-Knisja, aħna l-knisja, l-ġebel, il-knisja li hija kkonsagratha, anke jsir rit uffiċċjali mill-Knisja li tikkonsagra l-bini lil Alla, miegħu indendlu wkoll immaġnijiet, pitturi li jwasslulna l-Vanġelu. L-istess aħna nwassluh permezz ta’ santi, inwassluh b’ikoni, inwassluh bi xbiehat. Ċerti persuni, anke qrib ta’ Alla, f’mumenti ta’ intimita ma’ Alla, naqqxu huma stess fuq ġisimhom, per ezempju l-isem ta’ Ġesù: Qed nirreferi għall-qaddisa franġiskana kappuċċina, Santa Veronica Giuliani - għal darba, tnejn, tlieta u aktar naqqxet litteralment fuq il-laħam tagħha l-isem ta’ Ġesù, sforz l-imħabba kbira li kellha lejn Kristu.  

SANTA VERONICA GIULIANI
Forsi xi ħaġa stramba, tgħid din is-soru, klarissa, kappuċċina, kellha l-pjagi, qaddisa u tnaqqax fuq ġisimha l-isem ta’ Ġesù, darba, tnejn, tlieta, erbgħa, ħamsa ghax kellimnt espert li huwa fiha u qalli li aktar minn ħames darbiet għamlet din il-ħaġa.

Ċertament mhiex normali, ħa ngħidu hekk illi ssir, però fejn tidħol dan il-messaġġ profetiku li Alla jkun irid iwassal, il-messaġġ ikun irid iwasslu b’kull mod – iwasslu bil-kliem, iwasslu anka bil-ġisem ta’ l-istess persuni illi huwa jagħżel. Il-ġisem tal-persuni magħżulin minn Alla biex ikunu profeti tiegħu, ma jibqax tagħhom, isir propjeta ta’ Alla, strument f’idejH, biex anka bih iwassal il-messaġġ tiegħU. Per eżempju d-don tal-pjagi huwa don imnaqqax fil-ġisem ukoll, tal-persuni li jirċievu dan id-don. F’ġisimhom iwasslulna l-messaġġ tal-imħabba ta’ Ġesù mislub għalina lkoll. Allura importanti li aħna nifhmuha din il-ħaġa u nirriflettu fuqha. Hija sejha partikulari, li insibuha anka fl-iskrittura, li l-Mulej jagħżel persuni li jkunu sinjal, u xi drabi huma sinjal xokkanti, sinjal illi forsi jħawwad.

Però għaliex ikun hemm bżonn sinjal daqshekk xokkanti u li jħawwad ? Li jħawwadna, biex iġgħelna nistaqsu, biex iċaqlaqna, għaliex ? Għaliex inkunu qed ngħixu fi żmien ta’ ħafna jrus iebsa. Nkunu qed nghixu fi żmien ta’ ħafna nies li huma għomja u ma jridux jaraw, huma torox u ma jridux jisimgħu. U allura l-Mulej ikun irid isemma’ lehnu b’kull mezz biex jasal għand dawn in-nies. Allura dan kollu jkun att ta’ ħniena kbira minn naħa ta’ Alla l-imbiereK !

Il-Madonna hija Omm pero hija wkoll Profetessa - il-Profeta ta’ dawn iz-zminijiet. X’inhu r-rwol tal-profeta ? Il-Profeta, ghaliex ghandu relazzjoni partikulari ma’ Alla, jara dak li n-nies m’humiex jaraw. Darba minnhom Gesu lin-nies ta’ zmienu tghidx kemm canfarhom; qallhom “ Intom tafu taqraw it-temp imma s-sinjali taz-zminijiet ma tafux taqrawhom, u li hawn Jien fostkom, qed inwasslilkom dawn il-kliem, dawn il-priedki, dawn il-messaggi , dawn is-sinjali, m'intomx tindunaw – Gesu dan qalu ghaliH innifsu. U dan japplika ghalina wkoll, li ahna hafna drabi ma narawx, ghax m’ahniex bhall-profeta. Imma l-profeta jara u jara fil-boghod, jara dak li Alla jkun qieghed jurieh. Il-Profeta mhux biss jara u jara fil-boghod dak li possibilment jista’ jigri, pero il-profeta jaffaccja lil poplu, u jghidlu b’dak li jista jigri – naghmlu ‘emphasy’ fuq dak li jista’ jigri ghax jiddependi minna ! – Il-profeta jhares lejn il-futur mhux bhal xi haga li ha tigri, bhala xi haga li tista’ tigri, imma jiddependi minna x’naghmlu – per ezempju:

-- Gewwa Fatima, l-Madonna kienet bhall-profeta, li qed tghidilna li jekk mhux ha nitolbu r-Ruzarju, r-Russja ma tkunx ikkonsagratha, se tqum gwerra ghar mill-ewwel gwerra u fil-fatt feqqghet it-tieni gwerra.

-- L-istess haga l-kas ta’ Kibeho gewwa r-Rwanda – li fis-sena 2001 il-Knisja approvat dawn id-dehriet li sehhew fin-1980s, illi l-Madonna kienet qed twissi minn snin qabel, li fl-Rwanda ha jsir massakru, se jigri xi haga. Hadd ma ta kas u l-massakru sehh. U mbaghad wara qalu li d-dehriet kienu vera.....................

Gona ma qalx “Jekk ma tikkonvertux din il-belt ha tinqered ZGUR imma “Jekk ma tikkonvertux din il-belt ha tinqered". Mela jekk tikkonvertu ma tinqeridx.

Hekk huma l-messaggi ta’ Marija fid-dehriet taghha – messaggi ta’ tama, li jifthulna ghajnejna sakemm ma nkunux ghomja u nibqghu ghomja sa l-ahhar u mbaghad ikun tard wisq.

Il-Madonna, madwar id-dinja, kif tridna nipprevenu l-hazen li jista’ jigri ( ghax fi studji li jsiru dwar id-dehriet tal-Madonna, madwar id-dinja, fl-Istorja, jigi nnutat li d-dehriet taghha qatt ma jigru b’kumbinazzjoni jew ghalxejn. L-ghorrief jew dawk li jahsbu li huma ghorrief iqattghu hajjithom jippruvaw jifhmu kif din taghmel il-mirakli u ma jarawhomx ghax jibqghu jippruvaw jifhmu, qatt ma jaqbdu jitolbu u jmutu u jippruvaw jifhmu u jmutu u ma jifhmu xejn. Ic-ckejknin m’ghandhomx ghalfejn jippruvaw jifhmu. Ic-ckejknin jaghmlu dak li l-mummy u d-daddy jghidulhom. Malta hi parti mid-dinja............. Kulhadd ghaddejj kif inhu ghaddejj u hadd m’hu qed jahseb, kulhadd jibni, jibni u jibni, qisu xejn m’hu ha jintemm f’din il-hajja, aljenati.
Ftakru mhux Alla li johloq id-disastri naturali. Huwa d-dnub taghna li jikkawzahom. Itolbu li pajjizna, bil-konverzjoni u bir-Ruzarju, ikun mehlus. Xandruh dal-messagg anke lil min ma jaghtix kas. Ibqa miexja b’ras iebsa u taqtax qalbek ghax kif Alla qal lil profeta Ezekjel, ‘ Huma rashom iebsa u nwebbislek rasek aktar minnhom. Kif kienu Mose u Aaron mal Faraun sakem fl-ahhar ceda. Importanti xandruha, ifthu ghajnejn in-nies, jaraw madwarna x’inhu ghaddej ...............Itolbu r-Ruzarju bil-fidi. Is-sbuhija tat-talb hija t-tama li d-dinja tal-lum tilfitha. Araw x’qed jigri l-aktar fl-Ewropa u l-Lvant nofsani ...............Nifthu ghajnejna, ma nkunux ghomja u ifthu ghajnejn in-nies. Tibzghux jekk ma jifhmukomx. Mhux biex inbezzghu imma biex naghtu t-tama – it-tama li nitobu li bir-Ruzarju possibli. Meta l-Madonna gewwa Fatima marret tghid li jekk ma nitolbux ir-Ruzarju tigi gwerra ohra, mhux biex toqghod dbezzana, biex tevitahielna….imma milli jidher konna wisq rjus iebsa u ma setghetx tevitahha.

Il-Madonna mihiex magician – il magician jaghmel xi haga minghajrek. Gesu u Maria m’humiex magicians thares lejhom, ticcassa u tara x’se jaghmlu…iriduk taghmel xi haga inti maghhom – kif jghid San Pawl “ahna haddiema ma’ Kristu”.

Anke t-theddid ta’ gwerra fid-dinja u biza ta’ uzu minn bombi nukleari, l-arma taghna hija din – il-kuruna biex nghidu t-talba tar-Ruzarju. Emmnuha.

Kemm ha ddum is-Sema’ fid-dinja kollha tipprova tikkunvincina li din hija s-soluzzjoni. Ahna rridu soluzzjonijiet ohrajn IMMA s-Sema’ din taghtna. Ejjew inkunu ckejknin hawn f’Malta. L-Appostli kienu tnax, ahna qeghdin iktar. B’dawk it-tnax Alla ghamel xi haga sabiha. Jekk kull wiehed u wahda minna niehdu dis-sejha ................., anka jekk ma jifhmuniex, taghtux kas, kunu raskom iebsa aktar minnhom, irjus taz-zonqor kunu jekk hemm bzonn. Kunu raskom iebsa iktar minn min ma jridx jisma’, imma ibdew, ibdew, ibdew qabel ma jkun tard. Kunu intom ukoll BERQA, kun sinjal int ukoll fejn tkun, pero sinjal ta’ tama, mhux sinjal ta’ kundanna.

Il-Evangelju hu tama gdida ghall-bniedem. ghelhekk b’konvinzjoni u itolbu r-Ruzarju u itolbuh, anke meta titolbu man-nies, ghiduha bhala intenzjoni nitolbu biex pajjizna jinheles mid-disastri naturali, ghiduha, biex id-dinja tinheles mill-gwerra................
Dak li s-Sema’ tipproponielna hija din il-qawwa. David kien wahdu, kien ckejken u bl-izbandola rebah lil Gulija. B’din l-izbandola – il-kuruna u t-talba tar-Ruzarju nerbhu lil Gulija ta’ zminijietna: Il-forza tal-hazen, li trid thedded u tghezzez is-sisien anke tal-familji taghna....It-tfal iz-zghar b’min jaghmlu l-arja ? B’ommhom u missierhom, u ahna l-arja naghmluha b’din – bil-kuruna u bit-talba tar-Ruzarju.

WE ALL NEED TO BE A SIGN - Comments by Fr Hayden -17th Feb 2010

 

 
 

"We all need to be a sign and the first place to look for it, is in the Holy Bible. As mentioned in the Bishops' Lenten pastoral 2010, that emphasized, that everything that we do should start from the Word of God. Activities that do not come from the Word of God, are useless efforts that burden the Church. The Word of God must be the fountain from which we 'drink'. We find in the Scriptures how God chose certain people to be a sign - Like Ezekiel and Hosea - to show that even though man turns away from Him, God remains faithful to him.
You are in need of a SIGN when you are at the most unaware moment, when you have lost direction, when you are so lost that words are not enough. God, in all His mercy, gives us signs that shock us, that shake us, that make us question. Sometimes these signs are surprisingly 'rough', as when Our Lady weeps in Her apparitions and images - signs that draw the attention of the distracted world, even the Church. Something is happening; something that Heaven wants to speak to the human being by a sign. Jesus once said “I tell you, if they keep quiet the stones will cry out!” (Luke 19:40). WEEPING STATUES ARE THE STONES THAT SPEAK OUT, SPEAKING WITHOUT WORDS. We are so distracted that sometimes we need such signs. Sometimes these signs can be also the persons - as during St Francis of Assisi, when the church and the world were passing through difficult times, God gave a sign through him by the stigmatas, through his personal change, his new way of living, his new way of reasoning. He was a 'thorn' to those around him and he was made fun of and passed as a mad man. God wanted him to be a sign - without words, even through his strange way of dressing...with his example of the free person whom only God is the security, only God is the only One who will dress him, who will give him the dignity of the whole person. He was mocked at as a fool...but he shocked them ! He made them conscious - Through his nakedness, he crushed their pride, their thirst for money, even in the church. St Francis was not sick, but he was a sign that shook, and shook from the depth.

God gives this vocation to certain people, to be a sign - a shocking sign as at the presentation in the Temple, Simeon says of baby Jesus ( even Jesus was a sign), to Joseph and Mary, - Luke2:34 "And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against"

God wants to give you the vocation to be a SIGN, a sign of humility - in your family, in the church, in the community. Do not be afraid to receive this grace from God, to be a sign to others; when you see a sign from God in others, that seems strange or without sense in your mind, or that confuses you - learn to silence yourself.
When facing the sign, do not try to reason it out - just stop, silence yourself and let the sign speaks to you. Let God tell you what He wants you to know from the sign. Silence your mind, the logic, your reasoning - let God tell you what He wants to say to you. Many times God uses simple things, which seem silly, even useless, to bring to nothing the wisdom of the Wise, the wisdom of the person who thinks he is wise.

LEARNING TO PRAY


Learning to pray

...the Spirit...makes intercession for us... Romans 8:26

Prayer isn't natural to us. Our natural inclination is to depend on ourselves. Some of us haven't learned how to pray. Others don't pray enough to be comfortable with it. Still others don't understand enough of God's Word to pray biblically and get results. Whatever the case, we've no excuse not to pray. The Holy Spirit who lives within us can clarify, correct and change our prayer so that by the time it reaches God it's all sorted out. The Bible says, '...the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us...Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose' (Romans 8:26-28 NKJV). Who do 'all things work together for good' for? Just anybody and everybody who believes? No, those who 'love God.' And more importantly, those who have learned to allow the Holy Spirit within them to pray, because what He asks for will always be in line with God's will. Learning to pray is like learning a foreign language. The best way to learn it is to hang out in an environment where the language is spoken. So if you want to learn to pray you must a) take the time to do it b) spend time with those who know how to do it c) allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you.
