Ammen.

THE EXTENT OF GOD'S LOVE AND MERCY
At the moment of Consecration in every Holy Mass
Jesus Christ is whole in both species
with the Human Body, Human Blood, Divine Soul and Divinity united in the Holy Trinity
HUMILITY, EVEN HUMILIATION WILL LEAD YOU TO BE LIKE JESUS
reflections...
...The greatness of God, Jesus, is in His total humility to become:-
--- Human, through the power of the Holy Spirit and the yes of Mary, a devout and humble human who was redeemed of original sin from the moment of her conception. C.C.C. p491; as the Angel Gabriel's greeting declares - “Rejoice highly favoured” ;“Hail full of grace.” - Kecharitomene.
--- To accept to be enthroned not on some fancy cathedra but humiliated, abandoned, suffering physically, psychologically and nailed, hanging on a wooden cross, outside the city walls in the midst of the city dump.
--- To be proclaimed mockingly as King as he died, arms stretched out, to embrace the world and all of humanity. (“At present we do not see “all things subject to him,” but we do see Jesus “crowned with glory and honour” because he suffered death, he who “for a little while” was made “lower than the angels,” that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.” –Heb 2:8-9)
He gave us everything - Himself - to show His ever-loving compassion to each one of us and to reveal to all, the deceit of the devil.
Resurrection is natural for God - Jesus passed from the state of death to another life beyond time and space - At his Resurrection his body is filled with the power of the Holy Spirit: he shares the divine life in his glorious state, so that St. Paul can say that Christ is "the man of heaven".512
--- Jesus came as a Suffering Servant Leader as he explained to the disciples at the Last Supper when he washed their feet.
We are all called to be servants to one another, assisting and helping in fraternal love and friendship
Jesus redefined what it means to be a leader amongst those that dare to call themselves his followers, reminding us that the first will be last and the last first.
Jesus humbles Himself yet again in the consecrated Host during each Holy Mass: He wanted to be reached by everyone in bread from wheat and wine from grapes - His own creations and man's work . As it is written in Ezekiel 3:3 and Revelation 10:9, He gives us Himself to eat, to nourish us with His Word that became Flesh; to teach us how to become like Him everyday - By reflecting Him in our humble, patient, perseverant, forgiving and faithful actions and services to others
