Pope Francis published a letter on the liturgy this June, nearly one year after the motu proprio Traditionis custodes, which limits the celebration of the Traditional Mass. In the fifteen-page apostolic letter, Desiderio Desideravi, the pope said he wanted “to invite the whole Church to rediscover, to safeguard, and to live the truth and power of the Christian celebration.”
