WHY SUFFERING?   

Why would an all-powerful, all-loving God allow suffering?
Because:

a) We’re not marionettes and

b) This earth – for our own greater good – is not a pleasure bubble floating in space.

Qajjmuh u qalulu: "Mgħallem, dan qisu m'hu xejn għalik li aħna se nintilfu?" [Mk:4:39]  Mbagħad qam, ordna lir-riħ u qal lill-baħar: "Iskot! Biżżejjed!" U r-riħ waqaf u waqgħet kalma kbira.
[Mk:4:40]  U qalilhom: "Dal-biża' kollu għaliex? Mela ma għandkomx fidi?" [Mk:4:41]  U qabadhom biża' kbir, u bdew jgħidu lil xulxin: "Dan min hu, mela, biex saħansitra r-riħ u l-baħar jisimgħu minnu?"
