Could This Be The Greatest Discovery In Catholicism? | Saint Anne Feast Day
The story is remarkable! According to tradition, the most unlikely of circumstances occurred: a deaf, mute, and blind boy - enlightened by the Holy Spirit led the Emperor Charlemagne into a long lost underground crypt in southern France where the relics of St. Anne were buried and hidden for centuries. St. Anne's relics have been preserved and venerated in the many cathedrals and monasteries dedicated to her name, for example in Austria, Canada, Germany Italy, and Greece in the semi autonomous Mount Athos, and the city of Katerini.

The miraculous manner in which these precious relics had arrived in southern France, and the great saints who had brought them there. How God uses the weak things of the world to confound the wise, and how He can do great things with us if we let Him. The powerful intercession of Good St. Ann, and the saints who have been devoted to her.

Since the founding of the Church, St. Anne has been one of the most venerated saints. She is the patroness of mothers, unmarried women, pregnant women, infertile women, and many others. Her name means “generous, merciful, and gracious.” Christians honor her on account of [1] the great degree of her virtue, [2] the height of her exalted dignity, and [3] her close relationship to the holiest persons (Jesus and Mary). St. Anne has power to aid in every necessity because her grandchild, Jesus, will refuse her no petition and her glorious daughter supports her every request. Those who faithfully venerate St. Anne will want for nothing in this life and the next. To this end, Father helps us become more familiar with her life and provides prayers by which we can grow in our devotion to her.
