Sunshine You give, to make my days bright, The moon and the stars, to light up the night Clouds with a silver lining, to show that the sun's just hiding In storms and rain, You're always there. How..... The sea with its splendour, power and might The wind which blows, and goes as it likes Flowers to give us pleasure; these are Your gifts to treasure I look around and know that You're there How...... Still all these years, just were'nt enough You gave us Yourself, to show us Your love; Closed in each Tabernacle, In every church and chapel, You give us Yourself, to show that You care. LILEK, O ALLA, INFAHHRU - TE DEUM, LAUDAMUS

Te Deum, also sometimes called the Ambrosian Hymn because if its association with St. Ambrose, is a traditional hymn of joy and thanksgiving. First attributed to Sts. Ambrose, Augustine, or Hilary, it is now accredited to Nicetas, Bishop of Remesiana (4th century). It is used at the conclusion of the Office of the Readings for the Liturgy of the Hours on Sundays outside Lent, daily during the Octaves of Christmas and Easter, and on Solemnities and Feast Days. The petitions at the end were added at a later time and are optional. A partial indulgence is granted to the faithful who recite it in thanksgiving and a plenary indulgence is granted if the hymn is recited publicly on the last day of the year.

Lilek, O Alla, infaħħru: * lilek b’Mulej nistqarru
Lilek, Missier ta’ dejjem, * id-dinja kollha tqimek.
Lilek l-anġli kollha, *
       lilek is-smewwiet u l-qawwiet kollha tagħhom,
lilek il-kerubini u s-serafini *
       ixandruk bla heda:
Qaddis, * Qaddis, * Qaddis *
       il-Mulej Alla ta’ l-eżerċti.
Is-smewwiet u l-art mimlija *
       bil-kobor tas-sebħ tiegħek.
Lilek tfaħħar *
       il-ġemgħa glorjuża ta’ l-Appostli.
Lilek ifaħħar *
       l-għadd sabiħ tal-Profeti.
Lilek ifaħħru *
       il-qtajja’ tal-Martri rebbieħa kollhom bjuda.
Mad-dinja kollha * il-Knisja Mqaddsa tistqarr fik:
il-Missier * ta’ kobor bla qies
l-Iben tiegħek miqjum,* veru u waħdieni
u l-Ispirtu s-Santu, * id-Difensur.

Kristu, * inti s-Sultan glorjuż.
Inti minn dejjem * Bin il-Missier.
Int, biex teħles lill-bniedem, *
ma stmerrejtx tinżel f’ġuf ta’ Verġni.
Int ħriġt rebbieħ fuq is-setgħa tal-mewt, *
      u ftaħt is-saltna tas-smewwiet għal min jemmen.
Int qiegħed fil-leminija ta’ Alla, *
      fis-sebħ tal-Missier.
Aħna nemmnu *
li int għad terġa’ tiġi bħala mħallef.
Nitolbuk għalhekk li tgħin lill-qaddejja tiegħek, *
      li int fdejt b’demmek il-għażiż.
Agħmel li nissieħbu mal-qaddisin tiegħek *
     fil-glorja ta’ dejjem.

Salva lill-poplu tiegħek Mulej, *
bierek il-wirt tiegħek.
Kun ir-ragħaj tagħhom, *
     erfagħhom għal dejjem.
Minn jum għal ieħor * aħna nberkuk
u nfaħħru ismek għal dejjem, *
     u għal dejjem ta’ dejjem.
Agħmel, Mulej, li llum, *
     inħarsu ruħna minn kull dnub.

Ħenn għalina Mulej, * ħenn għalina.
Ħa tkun fuqna Mulej it-tjieba tiegħek, *
     kif fik hi t-tama tagħna.
Fik, Mulej, jien nistkenn: *
ma jkolli qatt għax ninfixel.

WHEN I TOTALLY SURRENDER MYSELF TO GOD...

when I totally surrender myself to...

...GOD -- HE GIVES ME JOY IN MY HEART, EVEN DURING SICKNESS, TRAGEDY, DISAPPOINTMENT, ISOLATION .... AND THAT AFFECTS ALL THOSE AROUND ME -- HOW BEAUTIFUL !

...THE WORLD -- IT GIVES ME JOY IN ITS PLEASURES, THAT FADES AWAY LIKE THE FOG AND LEAVES ME FILLED WITH EMPTINESS, SHAME AND LONLINESS .... AND THAT AFFECTS ALL THOSE AROUND ME -- HOW MISERABLE !

GREAT PEACE

“Great Peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble” (Psalm 119:165).
God not only wants to give you peace, He wants to give you great peace! When you love the law of the Lord, nothing can make you stumble, and you will have great peace. Great peace gives you joy when it doesn’t make sense for you to be happy. It passes understanding. Great peace keeps you stable and strong no matter what may come against you. Make the decision to focus your attention on God’s Word today and everyday. As you discipline yourself in the scriptures, you will hunger more for God’s Word, and that love for His law will naturally develop. Psalm 119:105 says that His Word is a lamp to our feet and light to our path. That means God’s Word directs us. God’s Word protects us. You can find peace and security in His Word, knowing that He is faithful and your future is sure! Choose His Word today, and you will have great peace and live the life of blessing God has in store for you!

Pray This:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word that gives me peace. I choose to focus on Your Word so that You can protect me and guide me. I give You praise for working in my life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
