1 Of David, when he feigned madness before Abimelech, who drove him out and he went away.
I
2 I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall be always in my mouth. 3 My soul will glory in the Lord; let the poor hear and be glad. 4 Magnify the Lord with me; and let us exalt his name together.
II
5 I sought the Lord, and he answered me, delivered me from all my fears. 6 Look to him and be radiant, and your faces may not blush for shame. 7 This poor one cried out and the Lord heard, and from all his distress he saved him. 8 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he saves them. 9 Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the stalwart one who takes refuge in him. 10 Fear the Lord, you his holy ones; nothing is lacking to those who fear him. 11 The rich grow poor and go hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
III
12 Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you fear of the Lord. 13 Who is the man who delights in life, who loves to see the good days? 14 Keep your tongue from evil, your lips from speaking lies. 15 Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. 16 The eyes of the Lord are directed toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry. 17 The Lord’s face is against evildoers to wipe out their memory from the earth. 18 The righteous cry out, the Lord hears and he rescues them from all their afflictions. 19 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, saves those whose spirit is crushed. 20 Many are the troubles of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all. 21 He watches over all his bones; not one of them shall be broken. 22 Evil will slay the wicked; those who hate the righteous are condemned. 23 The Lord is the redeemer of the souls of his servants;

SALM 34
[S:34:1]Ta' David, meta għamilha ta' iblah quddiem Abimelek u dan keċċieh, u hu telaq.
[S:34:2] Kull
ħin inbierek il-Mulej;
tifħiru dejjem fuq fommi.
[S:34:3]
Bil-Mulej tiftaħar ruħi;
jisimgħu l-fqajrin u jifirħu.
[S:34:4] Xandru
l-kobor tal-Mulej miegħi;
ħa ngħollu ismu flimkien.
[S:34:5] Jien
fittixt il-Mulej, u weġibni,
minn kull biża' tiegħi ħelisni.
[S:34:6] Ħarsu
lejh u jiddi bil-ferħ wiċċkom,
u ma jkollkomx għax tistħu.
[S:34:7] Dan
il-fqajjar sejjaħ u l-Mulej semgħu,
u mid-dwejjaq tiegħu kollha ħelsu.
[S:34:8]
L-anġlu tal-Mulej jgħasses
madwar dawk li jibżgħu minnu, u jeħlishom.
[S:34:9]
Ippruvaw u taraw kemm hu tajjeb il-Mulej;
hieni l-bniedem li jistkenn fih.
[S:34:10] Ibżgħu
mill-Mulej, qaddisin tiegħu;
xejn ma jonqsu min jibża' minnu.
[S:34:11]
Is-setgħana jiftaqru u jbatu l-ġuħ;
min ifittex lill-Mulej xejn ma jkun jonqsu.
[S:34:12] Ejjew
uliedi, isimgħu lili;
jiena l-biża' tal-Mulej ngħallimkom.
[S:34:13] Min hu
l-bniedem li jħobb il-ħajja,
u jixtieq jara għomru kollu riżq?
[S:34:14] Ħares
ilsienek mill-ħażen,
u xufftejk minn kliem il-qerq.
[S:34:15]
Tbiegħed mill-ħażen u agħmel it-tajjeb,
fittex is-sliem u imxi warajh.
[S:34:16]
Għajnejn il-Mulej lejn il-ġusti,
u widnejh miftuħa għall-għajta tagħhom.
[S:34:17]
Il-ħarsa tal-Mulej fuq il-ħżiena,
biex jeqred minn fuq l-art tifkirithom.
[S:34:18] Jgħajjtu
l-ġusti għall-għajnuna, u l-Mulej jismagħhom;
mid-dwejjaq kollha tagħhom jeħlishom.
[S:34:19] Qrib
il-Mulej lejn dawk b'qalbhom maqsuma,
jgħin lil dawk b'ruħhom mifnija.
[S:34:20] Kbar
huma l-ħsarat tar-raġel sewwa,
iżda minnhom kollha jeħilsu l-Mulej.
[S:34:21]
Iħarislu għadmu kollha,
ebda waħda ma titkissirlu.
[S:34:22]
Il-ħażin ħżunitu teqirdu;
min jobgħod il-ġust iħallas għall-ħtija.
[S:34:23] Jifdi
l-Mulej il-ħajja tal-qaddejja tiegħu;
Before the apparitions of Our Lady in 1917, at Cova da Iria, Fatima, Lucia dos Santos and her cousins, Francisco and Jacinta Marto, who lived in the village of Aljustrel in the township of Fatima, had three visions of the Angel of Portugal, also called the Angel of Peace. These apparitions took place between spring and autumn 1916.
Prayer taught by the Angel of Peace on his first apparition to Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco at Fatima, in 1916 "My God, I believe, I adore, I hope, and I love You. I ask pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope, and do not love You" Talba li għallem l-Anġlu tal-Paċi fl-Ewwel Dehra lil Luċija, Ġjaċinta u Franġisku ġewwa Fatima, fl-1916 O ALLA TIEGĦI, JIENA NEMMEN FIK, JIEN NADURAK, JIEN NITTAMA' FIK, JIEN INĦOBBOK. The prayer of Angel of Peace on the third Apparition
'Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly and offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the earth, in reparation for the insults, sacrileges, and indifference with which He is offended. And through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg Thee for the conversion of poor sinners.'

Sacrifice Prayer Our Lady taught the children a prayer to be said when they would have something to offer up to God... such as some suffering, or an act contrary to what they wanted to do but which was necessary in order to please God.
O my Jesus, it is for love of You, in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and for the conversion of poor sinners.
Decade Prayer
Our Lady asked that the following prayer be inserted after each decade of the Rosary:
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins; save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls into Heaven, especially those who are in most need of thy mercy.
Paul Lawrence film of The Story of Our Lady of Fatima - Published on 15 Apr 2013
Rare historical film by Paul Lawrence, a WWII U.S. Army combat cameraman, of the Story of Our Lady of Fatima and of devotion to Our Lady of Fatima in the 1950s. It features original video of the visionaries, their families, the village and the original Sanctuary of Fatima, and a brief re-enactment of the 1917 events.
[Num:21:4] U telqu minn ħdejn il-muntanja Ħor mat-triq tal-Baħar tal-Qasab biex jeħduha bid-dawra ma' l-art ta' Edom, imma l-poplu ddejjaq jimxi,
[Num:21:5] u beda jgerger kontra Alla u kontra Mosè: “Għala tellajtuna mill-Eġittu biex immutu fid-deżert? M'hawnx ħobż u lanqas ilma; aħna xbajna b'dan l-ikel ħafif.”
[Num:21:6] U l-Mulej bagħat sriep velenużi f'nofs il-poplu u bdew jigdmuhom; u mietu ħafna mill-poplu ta' Iżrael. [Num:21:7] U l-poplu mar għand Mosè, u qalulu: “Dnibna għax tkellimna kontra l-Mulej u kontra tiegħek. Itlob lill-Mulej ħa jwarrab is-sriep minn fostna.” U Mosè mar jitlob għall-poplu.
[Num:21:8] U l-Mulej kellem lil Mosè u qallu: “Agħmel serp tal-bronż velenuż, u arbulah bħal stendard; u kull min jingidem u jħares lejh ifiq u jgħix.” [Num:21:9] U Mosè għamel serp tal-bronż, u arbulah bħal stendard. U ġara li kull min kien jigdmu s-serp kien iħares lejn is-serp tal-bronż, u kien ifiq u jgħix.

TUESDAY GOSPEL OF WEEK 5 OF LENT
--- When you have lifted up the Son of Man then you will know that I am
He ---
Evanġelju
Meta terfgħu ’l fuq lil Bin il-bniedem, imbagħad tagħrfu li jiena hu.
Ġw 8, 21-30
Qari mill-Evanġelju skont San Ġwann
F’dak iż-żmien, Ġesù qal lill-Fariżej: [Ġw:8:21] "Jiena mmur, u intom
għad tfittxuni, imma għad tmutu fid-dnub tagħkom. Fejn sejjer jien intom
ma tistgħux tiġu." [Ġw:8:22] Qalu l-Lhud: "Jaqaw se jneħħi ħajtu
b'idejh dan? Għax qal li 'Fejn sejjer jien intom ma tistgħux tiġu.' "
[Ġw:8:23] Ġesù qalilhom: "Intom minn hawn isfel, u jiena ġej minn hemm
fuq. Intom nies ta' din id-dinja, imma jien m'iniex ta' din id-dinja.
[Ġw:8:24] Kif għedtilkom jien, intom tmutu fi dnubietkom. Għax jekk
intom ma temmnux li jiena hu, tmutu fi dnubietkom." [Ġw:8:25] "U int min
int?" staqsewh. Weġibhom Ġesù: "Dak li ili ngħidilkom sa mill-bidu.
[Ġw:8:26] Għandi ħafna xi ngħid fuqkom u x'nikkundanna fikom; iżda dak
li bagħatni jgħid il-verità, u jiena ngħid lid-dinja dak li smajt
mingħandu." [Ġw:8:27] Huma ma ntebħux li kien qiegħed ikellimhom fuq
il-Missier.
[Ġw:8:28] Għalhekk Ġesù qalilhom: "Meta terfgħu 'l fuq lil Bin
il-bniedem, mbagħad tagħrfu li jiena hu u li minn rajja ma nagħmel xejn,
imma li nitkellem skont ma għallimni l-Missier. [Ġw:8:29] U min
bagħatni huwa miegħi, ma telaqnix waħdi, għax jiena dejjem nagħmel dak
li jogħġob lilu." [Ġw:8:30] Meta tkellem hekk, kienu ħafna dawk li emmnu
fih.

Pope's homily: We are not God's “employees, but beloved children”
The blood stains of Jesus exposed on the shroud of Turin
What does the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, our God, our Creator in human nature, really mean?
What Jesus, went through so that our sins could be forgiven, is beyond man's comprehension: The love and glory of God overflowed in His humility to bow down to be tortured and crucified, in total obedience to the will of God the Father.
This love still overflows yet again in His humility hidden in the Holy Eucharist in order for us to let Him transform us and in gratitude we give Him first priority in our life, bowing down to His will.
By the Sacrament of Penance and Reconcilation, we learn to become conscious of the empowerment in the Sacrament of Holy Communion during Holy Mass: The empowerment to evangelize the Word of God without fear or shyness, through our humble and charitable duties and services.

The Shroud of Turin: Detailed Analysis
The Shroud
of Turin is secured in a vault in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in
Turin, Italy, the Shroud is believed by millions to be the burial cloth of
Jesus. It is a fine linen cloth, measuring 14.5 feet by 3.5 feet, and
mysteriously displays a finely detailed negative photographic image — front and
back, head to toe, of an anatomically correct man who appears to have been
tortured, beaten, and crucified. Note that, in their accounts of Christ’s
suffering and death on the cross, all four Gospels mention a “fine linen
cloth.”
