THE POWER OF THE PRAYER OF THE ROSARY - The powerful prayer of exorcism - Father Gabriel Amorth

Beautiful Reasons for praying the Rosary even more often

Father Gabriel Amorth, Chief Exorcist of the Vatican writes:

One day a colleague of mine heard the devil say during an exorcism:

"Every Hail Mary is like a blow on my head. If Christ-ians knew how powerful the Rosary was, it would be my end."

The secret that makes this prayer so effective is that
The Rosary is both prayer and meditation. It is addressed to the Father, to the Blessed Virgin, and to the Holy Trinity, and is a meditation centered on Christ.

Please enunciate each word of the Rosary clearly and distinctly. Do not trample on the heels of the words of anyone with your words. Do not speak over the leader if you are following or the respondent if you are leading the Rosary. Remember that they also are having a conversation with Mary Our Mother and it is not polite to speak when someone else is speaking.

In the case of the public Rosary there are only two people speaking: the leader and the respondents. Each is speaking to the Blessed Mother and listening carefully to her response within their hearts as they meditate on the scene before them in their consideration of the mystery being spoken of and interpreted and translated into their lives.

Spread this powerful prayer of exorcism, the Rosary, which contains the Our Father, the Perfect Prayer, prayed five times in the recitation of each set of the Rosary's Mysteries, backed up by the powerful prayers of Our Mother who prays with us as we pray 53 Hail Mary's.

When you pray Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now....., the Blessed Mother comes instantly to your side to pray with you. And she does not come alone. She brings angels with her. And not just one or two for she is the Queen of Angels, so choirs of angels come with her. And she and Jesus are joined at the heart and cannot be separated so she brings Jesus with her. And Jesus cannot be separated from the Trinity so He brings the Father and the Holy Spirit with Him. And where the Holy Trinity is, all of creation is, and you are surrounded by such beauty and light as you cannot imagine in this life.

Your Mother comes as Our Lady of Grace with her hands outstretched. Rays of Light emit from her hands piercing your body, healing you and filling you with graces. This is your inheritance which was poured out from the heart of Jesus on the Cross, when the centurion pierced His Heart with the spear, into the only pure vessel ready to receive such graces at that time, Your Mother.

Now as you pray the Rosary, or even just recite one Hail Mary, you receive your portion of these graces.

He also said at this time, "Anyone who goes to Mary and prays the Rosary cannot be touched by Satan."

Is it any wonder that anyone who prays the Rosary from the heart is so blessed and protected, and powerful in their prayers for others ?

What it is and how to pray it --- LITURGY OF THE HOURS - LITURĠIJA TAS-SIGĦAT -TEACHING THE MASS - THE CATHOLIC LITURGICAL CALENDAR

Liturgical Year

https://www.usccb.org/prayer-and-worship/liturgical-year-and-calendar

The liturgical year is made up of six seasons:
  • Advent - four weeks of preparation before the celebration of Jesus' birth
  • Christmas - recalling the Nativity of Jesus Christ and his manifestation to the peoples of the world
  • Lent - a six-week period of penance before Easter
  • Sacred Paschal Triduum - the holiest "Three Days" of the Church's year, where the Christian people recall the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus
  • Easter - 50 days of joyful celebration of the Lord's resurrection from the dead and his sending forth of the Holy Spirit
  • Ordinary Time - divided into two sections (one span of 4-8 weeks after Christmas Time and another lasting about six months after Easter Time), wherein the faithful consider the fullness of Jesus' teachings and works among his people

The mystery of Christ, unfolded through the cycle of the year, calls us to live his mystery in our own lives. This call is best illustrated in the lives of Mary and the saints, celebrated by the Church throughout the year. There is no tension between the mystery of Christ and the celebration of the saints, but rather a marvellous harmony. The Blessed Virgin Mary is joined by an inseparable bond to the saving work of her Son, and the feasts of all the saints proclaim the wonderful works of Christ in his servants and offer the faithful fitting examples for their imitation. In the feasts of Mary and of the saints, the Paschal Mystery of Christ is proclaimed and renewed.
Seasons, saints, and celebrations during the liturgical year are laid out in a yearly liturgical calendar.

Nixtieq nistaqsi dwar is-Sena Liturgika

Is-Sena Liturġika
Is-sena tal-Knisja nsejħulha “is-Sena Liturġika”. Bħalma l-kalendarju fih erba’ staġuni, tnax-il xahar u tnejn u ħamsin ġimgħa u jinkludu festi nazzjonali u festi pubbliċi, il-Kalendarju tal-Knisja fih ukoll il-mod tiegħu kif iqassam is-sena. Għandu ż-żminijiet liturġiċi tiegħu: l-Avvent, il-Milied, ir-Randan, it-Tridu tal-Għid il-Kbir, żmien l-Għid u ż-żmien ta’ matul is-sena.
Is-sena Liturġika tibda fl-ewwel Ħadd tal-Avvent. Dan jibda erbat iħdud qabel il-25 ta’ Diċembru, il-jum li fih niċċelebraw il-Milied. L-aħħar jum tas-sena tal-Knisja hija l-festa ta’ Kristu Sultan.
L-għan tas-sena Liturġika mhix biex inkejlu l-ġranet u s-snin, imma biex niċċelebraw u nifhmu aktar il-misteru ta’ Ġesù Kristu, mill-Inkarnazzjoni tiegħu sat-Tlugħ fis-Sema, imbagħad Għid il-Ħamsin u l-istennija għall-miġja tal-Mulej fil-glorja.  L-azzjonijiet il-kbar li jsiru kuljum fil-Liturġija huma il-quddies u l-Liturġija tas-Sigħat.  Fihom aħna naħsbu u nimmeditaw il-Misteru tal-Għid minn aspetti differenti. Dan isir billi, għal-Liturġija tagħha, il-Knisja tagħżel siltiet mill-Kotba Mqaddsa biex jinqraw waqt il-quddiesa kif ukoll siltiet oħra mill-kitbiet tal-Missirijiet tal-Knisja jew qari ieħor spiritwali biex flimkien ma’ siltiet mill-Kotba Mqaddsa jinqraw waqt it-talb tal-Uffiċju Divin - Divine Office

Il-Liturġija tas-Sigħat - Liturgy of the Hours
Brevjar - Breviary

Daily updated - Brevjar (laikos.org)

L-Uffiċċju Divin, jew il-Brevjar, hu talb u qari li l-Knisja trid li l-insara jitolbu kuljum. Is-saċerdoti, id-djakni u r-reliġjużi kollha għandhom obbligu li jgħidu dan it-talb kuljum. Dan huwa magħruf ukoll bħala l-Liturġija tas-Sigħat għax huwa mqassam biex jintalab f’ħinijiet differenti tal-ġurnata.
It-talbiet prinċipali tal-Liturġija tas-Sigħat huma dawk li jsiru filgħodu u fil-għaxija.  Ta’ filgħodu magħruf bħala it-Tifħir ta’ sbiħ il-jum propju għax biha n-nisrani jagħti bidu għall-ġurnata tiegħu.  It-talb ta’ filgħaxija, li huwa magħruf bħala l-Għasar jintalab ma’ nżul ix-xemx, meta l-jum ikun qed jintemm.  Minbarra dawn it-talbiet prinċipali hemm talbiet oħra li huma iqsar li jintalbu f’ħinijiet differenti tal-jum.  Hemm ukoll dak li huma magħruf bhala l-Uffiċcju tal-qari b’siltiet mill-Kotba Mqaddsa u l-aħjar siltiet minn awturi spiritwali.  L-aħħar talb ta’ qabel l-irqad huwa it-Talb ta’ għeluq il-jum magħruf ukoll bħala l-Kompieta.  Fit-talbiet kollha hemm Salmi u Kantiċi ta’ tifħir lill-Alla.

Il-Quddiesa
Qari tal-Quddiesa

Fil-quddiesa ikun hemm żewġ qari fil-ġranet ta’ kuljum u tliet qari fil-ħdud u l-festi.
B’dan il-mod il-Knisja tistedinna naħsbu fuq il-ġrajjiet importanti fl-istorja tas-Salvazzjoni tagħna, tistabilixxi l-ġranet speċjali meta niċċelebraw dawn il-ġrajjiet u turina l-imporatnza tagħhom fil-kuntest tal-Misteru tal-Għid. Hekk l-aktar ġrajjiet importanti bħal l-Għid u l-Milied inssejħilhom “Solenità”.
Dawk ta’ anqas importanza insejħulhom “Festi”. F’xi ġranet oħra tista’ ssir “Tifkira” li kultant tkun ukoll “Obligatorja”. B’dawn hija tfakkar qaddisin li b’ħajjithom taw xhieda kbira tal-fidi. Meta ma jkunx hemm xi Solenità, Festa jew Tifkira, allura nsejħulha “Ferja”.  Iżda ċ-ċelebrazzjonijiet liturġiċi kollha tal-Knisja, anke dawk li fihom infakkru l-Madonna jew qaddisin huma ċċentrati fuq Kristu u l-Misteru tiegħu tal-Għid.
Il-qari tal-Ħdud hu mqassam fuq tliet snin, imsejħin Sena A, Sena B u Sena Ċ. Matul is-Sena A naqraw il-Vanġelu skont San Mattew, fis-Sena B naqraw minn San Mark u fis-Sena Ċ naqraw minn San Luqa. San Ġwann jinqara fi żmien l-Għid. Biex tkun taf f’liema sena qegħdin, għodd in-numri (digits) tas-sena, iddividi bi 3 u ara x’jifdal (remainder) Jekk jifdal 1 mela tkun Sena A, jekk jifdal 2 tkun Sena B, jekk jidħol eżatt tkun Sena Ċ. Attent, mhux kemm-il darba jidħol imma kemm baqa’ remainder.
Eżempju għas-sena 2013: 2+0+1+3 = 6.  Iddividi 6 bi 3 u jidħol eżatt bla remainder.  Allura sena Ċ.

Eżempju ieħor għas-sena 2014:  2+0+1+4 = 7.  Iddividi 7 bi 3.  Fadal remainder ta’ 1.  Mela Sena A.

Eżempju ieħor għas-sena 2015: 2+0+1+5 = 8.  Iddividi 8 bi 3.  Fadal remainder ta’ 2. Mela Sena B.
Matul il-ġimgħa naqraw siltiet oħra mill-Kotba Mqaddsa. Dawn imqassmin fuq sentejn Sena I u Sena II. Fuq medda ta’ sentejn jinqraw l-partijiet importanti kollha tal-Kotba Mqaddsa. Biex tkun taf liema qari qegħdin naqraw, ara is-sena (eg 2013). Jekk hi bil-fard, mela Sena I, jekk hi biż-żewġ, mela Sena II.

Kuluri wżati fil-Quddies

Fiċ-ċelebrazzjonijiet tagħha, il-Knisja tuża kuluri għall-ilbies tas-saċerdoti. Fl-Avvent u r-Randan tuża l-vjola. Fil-Għid, il-Milied u l-festi tuża l-abjad, minbarra fil-festi tal-Martri, f’Għid il-Ħamsin (Pentekoste), Ħadd il-Palm, u l-Ġimgħa l-Kbira li fihom tuża l-aħmar. F’jiem oħra matul is-sena tuża l-aħdar.

Żminijiet differenti fis-Sena Liturġika

L-Avvent hu żmien ta’ preparazzjoni għall-Milied. Fih erba’ ġimgħat. Fil-qari tal-Liturġija, il-Knisja tistedinna naħsbu fuq it-tieni miġja ta’ Kristu fl-aħħar tad-dinja. Hu biss fl-aħħar Ħadd li l-Knisja tibda tkellimna fuq il-ġrajjiet tal-Milied.

Il-Milied hu ż-żmien li fih niftakru fuq l-Inkarnazzjoni, it-twelid u t-tfulija ta’ Ġesù. Dan jintkuli l-festa ta’ Marija Omm Alla fl-ewwel tas-sena, l-Epifanija, u s-Sagra Familja.
L-Ewwel Parti taż-Żmien ta’ matul is-Sena: Dawn huma bejn tmiem żmien il-Milied u l-bidu tar-Randan. Jibda bil-festa tal-Magħmudija ta’ Kristu.
Ir-Randan hu żmien ta’ preparazzjoni għall-akbar festa tal-Knisja li hu l-Għid il-Kbir. Fih 40 jum u 6 iħdud. Matul ir-Randan, naqraw l-aktar ġrajjiet importanti fl-Istorja tas-Salvazzjoni, ibda mill-ħolqien. Jibda  b’Ras ir-Randan u jispiċċa f’Sibt il-Għid.
L-Għid il-Kbir jiġi fl-ewwel Ħadd wara l-ewwel qamar kwinta tar-rebbiegħa (wara l-21 ta’ Marzu). Dan jista’ jiġi bejn it-22 ta’ Marzu u l-25 ta’ April. Din il-festa hija importanti ħafna u ndumu niċċelebrawha 7 ġimgħat, li jissejħu l-Ħdud tal-Għid. 50 jum wara l-Għid niċċelebraw Għid il-Ħamsin magħruf ukoll bħala Pentekoste.
Wara nerġgħu nkomplu bil-Ħdud ta’ Matul is-Sena. B’kollox hemm 34, u jintuża l-aħdar. L-aħħar Ħadd tkun il-festa ta’ Kristu Sultan.

THE LITURGY OF THE HOURS

In ORDINARY TIME there are 34 weeks in the Liturgical Year of the Roman Catholic Church.

THE LITURGY OF THE HOURS is divided into FOUR WEEKS CYCLE. To know which week you should read, you divide by 4: Example if we are in Monday of the 33rd week in Ordinary Time, the result will be 8 remainder 1 - so we read Monday of the first week. When there is no remainder, read the day's prayers in week 4.

GENERAL INSTRUCTION OF THE LITURGY OF THE HOURS
Congregation for Divine Worship

116. Proper antiphons are given for each of the psalms of morning prayer and evening prayer during the Easter triduum, on the days within the octaves of Easter and Christmas, on the Sundays of the seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter, on the weekdays of Holy Week and the Easter season, and from the 17th to the 24th of December.

====================

147. During Advent, following an ancient tradition, passages are read from Isaiah in a semicontinuous sequence, alternating in a two-year cycle. In addition, the Book of Ruth and certain prophecies from Micah are read. Since there are special readings from 17 to 24 December (both dates included), readings for the Third Week of Advent which fall on these dates are omitted.
